Wondering if the author of a particular product is for real is a very good question. The new FTC rules regarding personalities and testimonials was implemented to address some of the problems in direct marketing and Internet Marketing in particular.

With respect to Michael Edwards, he’s definitely for real. His other products are not as good as his latest (CB Affiliate Loophole). Like most systems that are out there, though, his methodology may not resonate with anyone. I believe that’s the biggest issue facing anyone trying to implement anyone else’s system.

Let me explain: It’s important for you to understand your own strengths and weaknesses. Only you can come to grips with that. Perhaps Michael developed the Clickbank Affiliate Loophole to address his own particular weaknesses. I can’t say! Buy let’s assume he did. If you’re strengths and weaknesses are totally different than Michael’s, then you might find that his system just doesn’t speak to you. Other marketers may be in a totally different boat: Michael’s Loophole system speaks directly to their own weaknesses.

If you know yourself at least a little bit, then you can take the best parts of any program or system, integrate them and create a total winner.

I was wondering if you could tell me a little more about Michael Edwards. I can’t seem to find him on gurudaq.com . Can you tell me a little more about his other products that he has launched. Are they all Internet Maketing related and where they any good? I think it helps to know a little bit about the author before buying anything. Like you said in your review, there seems to be a lot of stuff out there that’s not very good.

I’ve tried some other products, but they were more about blogging and stuff like that. I like what I see here in this review about CB Loophole, but I don’t want to get burned.

Good question about the no-selling “claims”. You can think of the “no-sell” as pre-qualifying a customer. That qualification “warms them up” to a purchase. The purchase is through one of your affiliate links. If the pre-qualified customer decides to buy, you make a commission.

This is a very powerful process and a customer pre-qualification of some sort should be part of every online marketers sales funnel. If you pay attention, you will see advertisers trying to pre-qualify customers no matter where they advertise!

The CB Affiliate Loophole helps you with your front-end marketing. If you want to add a back-end (like list-building), that’s entirely up to you! Of course, you would be crazy not to …

I get the no selling required thing, but how are you supposed to make any money if nobody buys anything? I mean, isn’t that the whole point. I thought that internet marketing would focus on list-building or something followed by a sale.
