Is this some sort of scam?
It’s a fair question because there is so much garbage out there and I’m pretty sure we haven’t seen the last of it. It seems every Tom, Dick and Harry that has made a buck online is launching their 100% Guaranteed, Sure-Fire, Can’t Lose, Cash-Grabbing System. Most, if not all, of those are crap.
This system is no scam, that’s for sure. It’s legit in every sense of the word. Is there some hype around this product and the launch? Yeah, of course. That comes with the territory. But most of the hype and exaggerated claims originate with those trying to promote CB Affiliate Loophole, not with the author, Michael Edward’s, himself.
If you ask me, the launch is a little bit disorganized (sorry Mike!) and, as I said, there’s some hype we could all do without. Most importantly though, he hasn’t actually said much about the product itself. Fortunately, I’ve done my research so after reading this review, you’ll be able to make an informed decision!
Is this guy Michael Edwards for real?
The Clickbank Affiliate Loophole is the latest product produced by Michael Edwards. Mike’s been around the block when it comes to Internet Marketing and he’s launched a number of successful products. He’s done Guru Domination Blueprint and List Laundering. These products were good, but I believe that his latest is his best.
Having said it’s Michael’s best to date, I don’t believe it’s perfect. The pdf manuals and videos are good are there’s not much fluff. Notice I said “not much”. I would prefer “none”! Other than that, he gets his points across clearly and there’s little doubt as to what the action steps are. His teaching, coaching and writing style make it very easy to learn from him and other members of his team.
Are there any measurable results?
Every product launch includes screenshots of actual results. This is no different. What you have to ask yourself is “Are these the kinds of results I can expect?” Same with testimonials. Marketers put results and testimonials and endorsements from other well-known marketers as proof that their product or system rocks. In fact, the FTC has cracked down on this kind of advertising as it has been very badly abused in the past. The results for Clickbank Affiliate Loophole seem reasonable. My usual measuring stick is to divide the “actual” results by a factor of 4 or 5. Ask yourself if you would be happy with achieving only a quarter or fifth of what the claims are. If you’re happy with a small fraction of the potential earnings, then go for it.
What kind of product is it anyway?
OK! Here’s where you say “It’s about time dude!”. The Clickbank Affiliate Loophole is a series of pdf manuals and instructional videos. There’s a nice, professional member’s area and all kinds of support and help right at your fingertips. I like the well thought out blueprints and supplementary written material. They’re an excellent complement to manuals and the videos. All in all, the product itself is top-notch. To learn the stuff you will have to apply yourself. There’s no Matrix-like brain-stem plug-in that takes care of that. You can do it in chunks, though so you can get started immediately.
What sort of method or system are we talking about?
The concept behind the CB Affiliate Loophole system is nice and simple. That’s good. People like simple and simple is easy to execute. And most of what you’re going to be selling is “free”. BTW – People also like free :p) But to say that you won’t have to do any selling is a stretch. This is simply not accurate. At some point, regardless of price, your customers must be at least convinced, if not sold. We’re really splitting hairs here because the process in this system focuses on customers who have made a buying decision before you engage them. And that’s where Michael’s system really shines. It’s drop-dead easy to “sell” customers who are already “sold”!
No matter what you do online, you will require traffic. The CB Loophole system is no different. You will have to generate traffic to generate commissions. The quickest way to generate traffic is with Adwords and this is one of the traffic generation schemes recommended by this system as well. If you’re not a PPC whiz, don’t worry about it. How long before you can see any kind of return on your investment?
This is a tough one because it depends on the individual. But, if you take consistent action, you will see consistent results. And if you take action quickly, you will see quick results.
How easy is it to ramp up?
For me, this is one of the most important elements of any marketing plan. Nice job on the review. I’m looking forward to getting started with CB Affiliate Loophole, but I’ve got some other questions. Maybe you could answer them for me!
Okay, here goes. I’m not really sure what “no selling” means. You have to sell something, right? Secondly, is this limited to just Clickbank, or can you use other networks, like Paydotcom? That would be very cool if this system worked for some others. Lastly, how am I supposed to get traffic? That’s the biggie for me.
There seems to be lots of systems, but I figure the common theme between them all has to be traffic. Enough traffic and I suppose anything will sell, even if you aren’t selling!

Let’s get at your questions. There’s been quite a bit of talk about Michael’s no selling claims. It’s a little confusing at first but not too hard to get your head around once. Michael is really using some standard marketing practices here but giving it an Internet Marketing twist. No matter what kind of marketing your up to, it’s always easier to have your customers come to you as opposed to you looking for them. So, if your customer finds you first, no selling required!
Let me repeat that: If your customer finds you first, you don’t need to sell him or her on anything. They’ve already decided. They’ve already made up their mind. You don’t need to do (read “sell”) anything. As you can imagine, this is a very good thing indeed.
How exactly your customer finds you speaks directly to your third question: Where does the traffic come from? There’s all kinds of ways to generate traffic. Keep in mind that not all traffic is equal! You want targeted traffic. The quickest way to generate targeted traffic is with Adwords. If you’re not comfortable with Adwords, or don’t want to spend the money on a PPC campaign, you can still generate organic traffic. The trade off is time. It takes time for a search engine marketing program to get some traction in the search engines. Bear in mind, however, that if you’re customers are finding you, all you need is a web-presence of some description. If you’re on a tight budget, you can do this for free as well by creating a Blogger or Wordpress blog. Or, if you prefer, a Squidoo Lens or Hubpages page!
Lastly, you asked if this applies to other networks besides Clickbank. Yes, indeed it does! It will work with any affiliate network, like Commission Junction, Shareasale, Pepperjam, out there.

I get the no selling required thing, but how are you supposed to make any money if nobody buys anything? I mean, isn’t that the whole point. I thought that internet marketing would focus on list-building or something followed by a sale.

Good question about the no-selling “claims”. You can think of the “no-sell” as pre-qualifying a customer. That qualification “warms them up” to a purchase. The purchase is through one of your affiliate links. If the pre-qualified customer decides to buy, you make a commission.
This is a very powerful process and a customer pre-qualification of some sort should be part of every online marketers sales funnel. If you pay attention, you will see advertisers trying to pre-qualify customers no matter where they advertise!

I was wondering if you could tell me a little more about Michael Edwards. I can’t seem to find him on gurudaq.com . Can you tell me a little more about his other products that he has launched. Are they all Internet Maketing related and where they any good? I think it helps to know a little bit about the author before buying anything. Like you said in your review, there seems to be a lot of stuff out there that’s not very good.
I’ve tried some other products, but they were more about blogging and stuff like that. I like what I see here in this review about CB Loophole, but I don’t want to get burned.

Wondering if the author of a particular product is for real is a very good question. The new FTC rules regarding personalities and testimonials was implemented to address some of the problems in direct marketing and Internet Marketing in particular.
With respect to Michael Edwards, he’s definitely for real. His other products are not as good as his latest (CB Affiliate Loophole). Like most systems that are out there, though, his methodology may not resonate with anyone. I believe that’s the biggest issue facing anyone trying to implement anyone else’s system.
Let me explain: It’s important for you to understand your own strengths and weaknesses. Only you can come to grips with that. Perhaps Michael developed the Clickbank Affiliate Loophole to address his own particular weaknesses. I can’t say! Buy let’s assume he did. If you’re strengths and weaknesses are totally different than Michael’s, then you might find that his system just doesn’t speak to you. Other marketers may be in a totally different boat: Michael’s Loophole system speaks directly to their own weaknesses.
If you know yourself at least a little bit, then you can take the best parts of any program or system, integrate them and create a total winner.
