Articles are a great way to get the word out and allow you to showcase your knowledge in your field of expertise. Since you do not have the advantage of face-to-face contact with your potential customers over the Internet, you need a way to let them know you are well-informed, competent, and that they really should buy from you. Articles provide a great avenue for doing just that. When you write, keep the content informative and factual.

Does Matt knows anything else instead of saying all the time “content is the king”? You can’t get more links thatn your concurents have with content in ecommerce most the time. So it makes no sense. I doen’t speak about 1-10 000 links. I speak about 10 000 – 500 0000 links which my buy in Krackow :)

The question itself was basically whether or not a policy page IS minutia, when considered in relation to Google’s index.

  7. onlinedesign says:

Don’t digress over minutia. Let your content be relevant to the user and all will be well. Excellent tidbit.

    - Your Q&A videos are awesome, overall. I’m really impressed that you keep every Q compressed to an (overall) answer of 2 minutes or less. U got skills. p.s. I’ve seen U on two TedTalks now the last 3 weeks, glad to see someone enjoying the same stuff I do ;)
